Can you refinish all cabinets?
We can only refinish what can be taken down and brought into our factory and/or showrooms. We do not do on-site refinishing. This means that if you have face-frame cabinets (your cabinets have wooden frames surrounding the doors), then you’ll have to refinish the frames yourself.
However, we will be more than happy to supply extra stain and show you how to properly apply it to the frames!
How long does it to refinish cabinet doors?
Depending on the material, condition, and number of doors the project might take a couple days to weeks. Please ask our experts for an estimate time frame at the moment you drop your doors.
Can you refinish oak wood cabinet doors?
If you wish to refinish your oak wooden doors and change its colour, you’ll have to choose a very dark stain. Since oak wood has such a heavy grain, your existing stain will “bleed” through, and still be visible in the grain of the wood unless you choose a dark stain.
What are the other options to refinishing cabinets?
If you are looking for options outside of replacement, consult with Century Cabinets Group staff for the best solutions for your situation.
If refinishing your cabinets do not suit you, then refacing your cabinetry will give your kitchen a brand new look. We’re also provide machining and cutting for those who require component parts and custom paneling.
