Granite Countertops

Granite countertops are best for rooms with an earthy style. They go well with hardwood and laminate flooring which is darker in color. In Vancouver, a popular style is the rainforest style. This style of home and décor would greatly benefit from granite countertops.

Marble Countertops

Marble is often recommended for rooms which have glossy tile. Since Marble is a natural stone, it goes well with other stone textures. Using white cement and grout also helps bring the whole room together. Marble is a great material for countertops when you have white walls and molding. It’s minor details like that which go great with marble.

Wood Countertops

Wood countertops are often preferred by chefs. Though it is recommended to not use it as a cutting board, modern wood countertops have wooden inserts so that the cutting board is a part of the countertop.
